Jet Performance chip/programmer

Does anyone know something about these products?

http://www.jetchip.com/

It is strange that Superchips, Diablo Sport, etc., can not crack Chrysler`s chip, and Jet have a solution for 2011..

Re: Jet Performance chip/programmer

Jet's always first out, for it is a module that "piggy-backs" the ECU, altering the signals. I had one prior to the release of the Diablo/Superchips/etc. It works, but there is no adjustability and you need to run premium. In my opinion, it's worth the coin, until the the ECU is cracked by the other manufacturers. You may want to contact B&G to see if they have anything yet as well.

Dodge/Jeep Module | Stage 1
Part #: 90906

The JET Performance Module for Dodge, Chrysler and Jeep vehicles is a JET exclusive. Dynamic Spectrum Tuning provides power gains across the entire power band-not just at full throttle. Point by point air/fuel ratio, ignition advance and various other tuning points provide performance gains of up to 25 horsepower. Improves throttle response, acceleration and low end torque. Simple, plug-in installation in less than 30 minutes. More Details Installation Instructions

Stage 1-For stock or mildly modified vehicles. Fuel and timing curves are modified for optimal performance and mileage using less expensive, lower octane fuels. Programming is designed to burn fuel at peak efficiency, which results in improved performance and mileage. Daily drivers can use lower cost regular fuel for potential mileage gains, but for optimal performance gains use of mid-grade or better is recommended.

Has anybody used this chip yet?

I added a Jet to my '93 Grand Cherokee. There were no technical issues, although any performance improvements were not noticable. I had put a chip in my Corvette for which I could feel a difference.

My last experience with Jet resulted in a loss in HP at the dyno. :/

Figured WTH and picked up a Stage 2 and 185* thermostat off Amazon yesterday. I'll throw it in this weekend and see what happens. Now that the weather has cooled off a bit, i'm not seeing issues any more from the "C"AI so it shoud be a decent SOTP test.

I had a jet chip in my 99 Dakota 5.9 RT and did not notice any difference in performance at all. Not sure how the 5.7L hemi will fare but a before vs after dyno should be done if possible to see gains in the powerband not just what the butt dyno says.
