WK mopar rock rails?

Alright, my favorite parts guy called me up tonight and told me they had some wk rock rails they were dumping off... they were a price I couldnt refuse. They were these:

They are new, never installed, unopened hardware. at the time I thought they replaced the side moulding, but after seeing these I see they just attach below the side moulding. They look tough and they are heavy.

To my question... Has anyone installed them, and do they have better pictures? I dont really like the idea of loosing inches of ground clearance but at the same time there is no better thing to loose it to I guess.

It may be a couple weeks for install pictures from myself, I have some extra hours to work to make up for a speeding ticket before I pull these off the "lay away" rack at work.

Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiic Andrew!!! I would LOVE a set of some rock rails. I saw them work BEAUTIFULLY in action last weekend!! They are a tad bit pricey but a repair job would be much much more!! I do hear they arse a pain in the arse to install...so good luck!!! Pics please when done!!

True testament to rock rails

The Mopar ones are a bit different than the 4xguard ones. They mount below the side skirts where the 4xg ones replace the skirts. Fairly certain they mount to the pinch weld and/unibody. On another note the 4xg rails were the easiest set of rock rails I've ever put on. Start to finish was an hour job! Check out my IRO and 4xg testament thread. Very strong indeed!

Rock rails and "gas pump" rated?! Haha jk!!

Good to know. I like an easy install! I want all 4xG armor under my wk. Gonna get the rear guard 2 and belly guard when in stock :)

You would!! They're seriously the easiest set to put on a vehicle. Pretty much fool proof. I've had the weight of my vehicle supported by them plenty of times(on the rocks and perhaps a few gas pumps in the near future hahaha!). Reminds me, I need to fix the gouges in those bad boys before the snow/salt flies!

Ouch!

I agree but Im getting these brand new for 1/3rd the cost of the 4x guard ones ;) Only ones I have heard anyone complain about are ones that replace the rocker cover... and even then they were not the 4xguard ones, maybe another mopar style. Ill post pictures for sure!

btw, I did not edit your post... I have this edit button next to the quote button with my super mod powers and I seem to always press that before I get the right quote button.
