Was told today by my dealer that I could use a CDI discount

Hope she wasn't blowing smoke. Any one else know if this is now true? Thanks. I was told when I placed my order
back in July that the SRT 8 was not eligible.

I do not believe any employee or affiliate pricing is eligible on SRTs at this time.

Re: Was told today by my dealer that I could use a CDI discount

I believe it stands for CERTAIN DESIGNATED INDIVIDUAL discount, basically a Chrysler employee can give ONE person they know a discount or something on a vehicle like family/friends discount I believe.

Something like the person gets a code from the employee and they can use that code through a dealership that accepts it and get employee pricing plus certain small fees on the vehicle.

I could be wrong though but I'm pretty sure that's what it is.

Yes, it will save me about $5,000 off the price. Was told at first special orders do not get this, they came back to me today and said Chrysler is now allowing the discount. So if anyone has friends or family at Chrysler, hit them up.

$5,000 sounds a bit much... Did you not negotiate a price if the discount is not available? My dealer agreed to invoice pricing or affiliate pricing if available which is only about a $500 difference

But I should tell you it is all up to your dealer whether or not they approve the deal or not and who you know at Chrysler.

Quickone- never driven one before, but have driven the new WK2.
Have fun,
Matt

Has anyone else had success with using a CDI number on an SRT8? If so, which dealership?
