Adjusting CF Hatch Cover

Best way to go about fixing my CF Hatch Cover?

It looks like I pressed it down hard enough but might have been a little further away from rear panel of Jeep. SO over time, it seemed to separate and stick out on the left side. Me being a perfectionist, it annoys the hell outta me.

I was thinking of getting some Goo-Gone spray and a rubber or plastic painting wedge to slowly get behind the 3M tape and remove it carefully. Then treating and cleaning original hatch and reapplying hatch cover.

Any other proven methods anybody know about or suggest a better plan of attack?

Re: Adjusting CF Hatch Cover

heat it up a little with a hairdryer etc. and that will make the tape pliable
