Just a little TLC...

So I have neglected my Jeep for a few month now of some much needed care, on Thursday I went to the parts store and went shopping here is what I came away with...

as I said I had not changed my oil since January 8th, only had about 11,000 mi but with the oil and filter I have been using I felt pretty comfortable with it...changed the oil and the PCV valve, jacked her up rotated the tires, opened the hood started to pull the plugs and got tired gonna put that off for a few days...ran a little fuel injector cleaner through with a fresh tank of premium fuel...

soooo I have been thinking of trading her in on a crew cab dually then getting a set of 22.5 Alcoa wheels with a mild lift just getting bored I guess but it will hold on to her for a while longer with this crazy economy!

Good stuff Dustin!! I'm sure the Jeep appreciated it! :D

So you're thinking about semi wheels on a dualie Ram? That would be sweet! HEMI or Cummins power?

Re: Just a little TLC...

Hannes have not decided yet on what type of truck just something different if I end up doing it...a buddy of mine just hooked up an F-350 with the wheels and it is very nice!

The wheels match his dump truck which is also really nice...this is my buddy who owns the body shop where I do all my work...

If I do get rid of the Jeep the replacement will definitely be a white one!

Re: Just a little TLC...

for the 3.7 it isnt as critical as the 4.7 guys. I dont understand it all but for some reason ONLY COPPER CORE can be used on the 4.7 or you ask for trouble.

but for the 3.7, the info is vague. But may be best to just tstick with stock rerplcements.

From WKJeeps.com for the 3.7 WK : http://www.wkjeeps.com/wk_sparkplugs.htm

Type: ZFR6F-11G (NGK)

Standard resistor-type
OEM P/N SPZFR6F11G
MSRP: $3.30 ea.

0.43 in. gap
3/4" reach, 5/8" Hex head
Torque to 20 Ft. lbs.

I found them here:

http://store.ngkwholesale.com/search...se&category=16

for 2.35 each but shop around

from NGK web site: for a 2007 3.7 WK Laredo

Spark Plug Part No.
V-Power ZFR6F-11G OEM
G-Power ZRF6FGP
Laser Platinum PZFR6F-11
Iridium IX ZFR6FIX-11

i would just go with the stock replacement but on the 3.7 it looks like the Iridium would work as well if you got the correct #
