2005 WK with "2 lift need info

I have a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I have added a 2 inch lift and I added Moto Metal wheels and 255 70R 17 tires. I am wondering if I put a spacer will I be able to upgrade to 265 70R 17? This is my Jeep now. If so how much of a space do I need.http://a6.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphot..._5091361_n.jpg

Yea. Just so happens that I have a set of 1.5" spacers for sale. Lemme know if you're interested.

You could def do spacers but i read in a faq somewhere you can do 265 it depends on the tread though, more agressive and bigger tread the more the rubbing

Maybe, but spacers gives a wider stance for more stability and for the look !

I would think that the Moto Metals would have better spacing on them already. I rarely see anybody running aftermarket rims with spacers. I'm running 1.5" Spidertrax with my stock rims (6.25" backspacing) and BFG All-Terrain 265-70-17's. With the spacers, I have the equivalent of 4.75" backspacing & that's more than enough room. But I still had to perform the pinch weld mod to keep from rubbing during tight turns. Spacers actually make the pinch weld contact worse. If you can, just measure what you have now, get measurements on the specific tires you wanna roll with, & see if you even need spacing. Overall, you're probably looking at 1/2" taller and about 1/3" wider.
