ACC/FCW Disabled?

Has anyone had this issue before? I got on the highway this morning and went to turn my cruise control on and it wouldn't turn on. If I hold the On/Off button, this message pops up...

Re: ACC/FCW Disabled?

The ACC has the radar that controls it maybe the radar on the front bumper is excessively dirty? If not bring it to the dealer it has an electronic issue somewhere.

From the owner's manual, page 181:

"If the system turns off, and the EVIC displays “ACC/FCW Unavailable, Vehicle System Error”, there may be a temporary malfunction that limits ACC functionality. Although the vehicle is still drivable under normal conditions, ACC will be temporarily unavailable. If this occurs, try activating ACC again later, following a key cycle. If the problem persists, see your authorized dealer."

It's not that the radar sensor is dirty. That brings up a different error message.

If the sensor is dirty, the Cruise Control will turn on still but the ACC won't be running.
What do they mean by a key cycle?

A key cycle means shutting down the engine and re-starting it.

Didn't change it until a few times, now it'll turn on but that error will still show.

Did this happen when you pressed the cruise switch?
