Which resistor for V-LED Switchback Turn Signal LEDS?

I've read both 3 and 6ohm but no consensus and i want to get it right the first time.

I want to get the type 2 5000k pair
then the options for resistors are here: http://www.v-leds.com/BlinkerWarning...orLanding/true

Which fix is best? (please provide a link to the product since they're all named so similarly, thank you!!!):)

nm, looks like rob was pretty adamant that 3ohm is the way to go.

im hoping that's the case (just two front turn signals being used here).

would a 10ohm 25w resistor work? i hope so its what i ordered ugh

front is usually 3 ohm 50w. rear is 6 ohm 50w.

I had to go to a 1.5Ohm to get mine to work properly. I think it just depends on your jeep.

In the same boat here, trying to figure out which resistors would make them work the first time...

MOST use 3 ohm front and 6 ohm rear.

it doesnt seem to be the SAME with every WK.
I dont know why.

I have 3 ohm front and 6 ohm rear.

that will cover 95 out of a hundred wks.

if you want better odds than that dont this mod.

It depends if you have HIDs from the factory or not seems to be the biggest factor. For the rear, it depends if you have LEDs. Also, if you have an SRT, it'll be different if you have a fog harness with regular bulbs or LED bulbs.

Re: Which resistor for V-LED Switchback Turn Signal LEDS?

Anyone know if there is a difference in operation for resistors sized 50W/75W/100W? I noticed on autolumination that they "decrease temperature" with a larger wattage... will that affect the operation of the lights?? I think I understand the ohms now 1.5, 3, and 6 and I think I'm going to go with 3s... I've read a ton of posts about what everyone has used, just trying to understand why....

Thanks
