Anyone know if they sell the floor carpets yet. DD coffee just blew out in the center console. Drained through the console all the way down to the front carpets. I yanked out the center and cleaned the best I could and washed the carpets best I could but I think my new car smell is now going to be light and sweet:0(
Anyway stupid design JEEP making holes in the cup holders but awesome job making the floor carpets in sections. Only have to yank the 2 front seats and replace with new carpets if the sell doesnt go away. What a freakin bummer tonight!!!!!! The insulation soaked up the most of it and it looks to be glue to the carpet.

Re: Carpets
Sorry to hear. But thanks for the heads up as probably 6 cups of Dunkin move across my console cup holder per week.

Re: Carpets
I know, keep an eye out!!! Called Jeep today they can get them in 3-4 working days.. 210/side......yikes!!! If the smell doesnt go away then I will bite the bullet and purchase new ones....
I may try to take them out and clean them and buy new insulation off of ebay. The insulation is what soaked the majority of it up. I checked ebay I can get a 3X6ft sheet for 14 bucks. All I need is 1/4 of that.

Re: Carpets
Did you try adding lots of hot water and using a wet vac to collect the result? Rinse & repeat, over and over.

Had a similar situation in my 2000 JGC. I ended up using a large metal spoon to essentially squeegy the last remnants of coffee out of the carpet. Dragged the edge of the spoon along the wet carpet until result was mostly "clear".

Re: Carpets
I actually did. I think next I am going to take them out all toghter and clean them by hand first. As I said before I think the insulation is the causing factor of the smell so i will replace that first and clean the rugs. If all else fails gonna have to go new.
