Iphone 4s and call quality with the 730N
Hi all,

Making the transition from a droid to the Iphone 4s. How is the call quality on the iphone via bluetooth on the 730N system?

I have an iPhone 4 and I've been perfectly content with the call quality. I would imagine it would be the same for the 4s.

One thing to note - iPhone 4s users seem to love using Siri through the system. Makes me jealous (still holding out hope they will bring Siri out for the 4.)

Re: Iphone 4s and call quality with the 730N
The first incoming call that I took in my 2012 Overland was from my mother-in-law and she couldn't tell that I was using my iPhone 4 with the Bluetooth speakerphone in my car. I didn't have any problems with the Bluetooth speakerphone or music streaming, other than an occasional dropping of the signal during a song, like a skip. I prefer to plug my iPhone into the USB port to keep it charged anyway, which was a must during our recent week long power outage, so skips are no longer a problem for me. However, I had to re-pair my iPhone to the UConnect after updating to iOS 5.0.1. Although the Bluetooth music streaming still worked, the telephone and USB connection didn't. The re-pairing fixed everything, though.

I'm working on installing an iPhone dock, so that I won't have to dig into the center console to plug in or unplug my iPhone anymore. I'll post photos when it's done.

Using the iPhone 4S with UConnect and the 730N is pure joy - so easy and the call quality is excellent. No one can tell they are on speaker phone that way - and the quality of the voice through the speaker system is top notch.

I really enjoy using Siri through the 730N - still trying to figure out exactly how to get it to interface with the navigation system correctly, but otherwise, lots less prompts from UConnect if I just use the iPhone instead of going through the convuluted prompts of UConnect.
