New tails and fog bulbs

Ok, so a few weeks back I bought a set of Eagle Eye LED tails from another member who was getting rid of his WJ, and Last week I purchased a set of yellow tinted bulbs for the fog lights. The OE fogs are 9055 bulbs, but with a little work I was able to fit 9005 bulbs in their place. I eventually plan on going to projector/HID headlamps and fogs, but I wanted to test out the extra visibility everyone says you get with the yellow fogs. So anyway, here we go!

And here are the fogs. Taken with an iphone though...

I think this one just looks badass :D

I like the tails. Keep us posted on what you think about those yellow fogs after you run them for a while.

Thanks Dave! I'm actually kinda hoping for some good snowy nights to drive home in with the fogs, I was reading elsewhere here that the yellow fogs are better for bad weather visibility. I figured a few bucks for tinted bulbs was a better test than buying the HID kit and not being happy with it. I will post more when the weather gives me a chance to test them.

Are you having problems with your tail lights? Mine, for some unknown reason, blink (the tail lights) when I turn either blinker on. So if i turn my left blinker on I have the blinker blinking and both tail lights. Bizarre. They want me to send them back for an exchange but now I don't have my old tail lights. Just wondering because I know another member on here was having problems with when he turned his blinker on the 3rd tail light blinked.

Thank you sir! LED tails are awesome! Now I just need to get some LED turn and backup signals for them to complete the conversion.

Thanks! :) I will try and get more pics soon. Light output doesn't seem much different at night compared to the OEM bulbs since they are still a regular halogen, but I can see an area of yellow light in front of the Jeep between it and the headlights. The theory I have heard is that they yellow fogs help during incliment weather so I will hopefully be testing that out when the snow starts flying soon. Here is a link to the bulbs I bought: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...00_i00_details

If I like them I plan on eventually buying projector fog housings and a similar color temp HID bulb and a whiter HID headlight.

Please don't put "hopefully" and "snow flying" in the same sentence brotha...heheheh

Nice tails! You've GOT to be getting better output out of these over stock.

I've heard the same about the yellow fogs, but still could not bring myself to do it. I like the white light too much.

I put the yellow fogs in mine and I wasn't too sure to begin with but it is growing on me. They do seem to function better, we had some thick fog over here a few days ago, but I'll wait until the snow comes before I decide on their long term future in my Jeep:lol:

Mine do not blink with the turn signal that I have noticed, and I went and tested them after seeing your post. I have noticed however that when I hit the lock and unlock on the remote that the red flashes, but only occasionally.
