Another yellow fog convert. Short videos.

Decided to give these a try, after seeing the results some people were having. They are definitely better in the bad weather, than the white ones I was running with. I wasn't too keen on the look to begin with, but it has grown on me and will definitely stick with them through the winter:thumbsup:

Couple of quick vids.

Doesn't do it much justice, I admit. I'm thinking of using some yellow Lamin-x to give them a deeper, richer colour, so watch this space:D.

Ha ha! Yeah I really like 'em. Funny thing is, you used to see yellow headlights a lot over here during the 80's when I was a kid. Now you never see them.

I have to order a multifunction switch w/fog light switch to finish my PIAA mod. Lol. Nice. I could use mine on rainy days.

What size bulbs did you use? I got some for my friend and we could fit the HID's in. I thought I bought the right ones?????

These are the exact ones I bought Paul;

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MAZDA-MX5-...item45fc3da19e

I had to grind out a small notch that is in the housing to get them to fit exactly. This oddly seems to be the case with any of these bulbs I've found over here. Only takes a minute with a dremel, so it's no biggy.

Yellow fogs are the best!

Those "ion yellow" bulbs output yellow light but when you look into them, they don't look too yellow. If you want a deeper yellow, switch to a plain yellow bulb. I've tried both kinds and much prefer the plain yellow. I've had great luck with yellow Nokya 9005 bulbs in my fogs. They're a super deep yellow, and bright!

Here they are on our explorer (not 9005, these are H11)
