My JK

I didn't realize that we had a Wrangler section over here! I've been getting some help with our WK and must have overlooked this section.

My JK is a 2008 X model that I've built up myself. These are the most recent pictures I have of it.

If you guys have any questions about JKs I'm happy to help. This is my second one and I am pretty knowledgeable about them.

I'll share more about myself once I have the ok from Admin. ;)

Hey Marcus, nice JK. It would be nice to get this Wrangler area rolling a little bit faster! I did the same. Had a ton of wranglers but came here only for answers and installs for my Grands!

Re: My JK

Anything done to the axles?

Lockers?

Gears?

My 30 up front is sleeved/gusset/axles/locker

rear 44 is just stock w/ locker

RiverCityOffroad 11-22-2011 09:42 PM

Sorry I disappeared. :)

Here's what's on it:

The suspension is a Rock Krawler 2.5 Max Travel but I swapped out the rear arms for the longer ones out of a 3.5" X-Factor for a little stretch. I had to add their rear track bar and coil correction wedges to keep the coils out of the track bar.

Ive added Nitro 5.13s and their front axle shafts. Their shafts use the same u-joints that you would find in a Rubicon. They are the only company out there offering replacement chromolys with factory spec u joints for the Rubicon too. Ive also added Poly Performance sleeves and gussets. The rear axle is stock save for the gears and Nitro aluminum diff cover.

The armor is all Poison Spyder. BFH front, Brawler Rocker sliders, aluminum crusher flares up front and steel crusher flares out back. I have a rear BFH here that needs to be installed.

I think that's everything that's on it right now. I am gearing up for a comp cut and true stretch in the nearish future. :)

Y'all let me know if you have any questions! I love yackin about em!

Marcus
