Newbie wants to say THANKS!
My last Jeep was an old Wagoneer from the 80's. I am a new owner of a wellt aken care fo 2004 GC Lmtd. fully loaded. This week I thought the tranny was going, the o/d shift thuds and the stopping thumps, all made me freak out a bit. Not to mention the cold start high revs and surging idle when hot.

Reading here I saw that my TPS sensor may be gonzo. Well, it was! After reading the instructions here, I installed a new one in 20 minutes and the GC now shifts as smooth as glass!

Just wanted to say thanks for the cool posts and hope I will also be able to help someone else down the line. A couple of mechanics had already told me my trans or differentials were shot and needed replacing.

I saved a ton of cash just joining the site! And at such a great time of year to save cash! Glad to be aboard!

Welcome to the garage, and the more members we have, the more knowledge there will be, so that we all can help each other.

I have to agree with you on saving time and money with the valuable information and help that this forum offers. Wish I had joined sooner.
It's good to know that nothing is to small or simple to get a response.....:)
