Anyone with rain sensing wipers?

Does it work well? Im asking because my Overland has rain sensing wipers and when the rain is heavy it doesnt wipe fast enough. I tried moving the knob up and down to increase/decrease sensitivity but it wipes mostly the same. Sometimes when there is a slight drizzle, the wipers go full speed for a few second and returns to normal speed. Could it be calibration issue?

Thanks.

George

Sounds pretty weird to me. Mine work wonderfully and I love them!! However they ghost wipe from time to time. I shut em off in the summer. Sweet feature though :)

It works ok. Chrysler can use better vendor.

I have used ours extensively and only had the odd time that I wanted a wipe and it did not sense it. I use mine on setting 3 and it is fine. Make sure the windscreen is clean and test with a hose. The sensor is behind the mirror.

I know that they are not working well because I had another Overland for 3 month before and rain sensind wipers on that WK2 worked really well.

I've only had mine a couple of weeks, but they seem to work fine.
On the days it has rained, I had it on the first detent, and they worked so well there, I didn't want to try the other two positions.
Only once when driving under objects that dripped on the windshield in one area, did the auto wipers miss it. In that case I just manually wiped, and turned it back to auto. No big deal.

I'm happy with them.

I have them and have no complaints so far. They usually swipe when I want, without swiping too often.

I have had no problems. Unlike most of you though I leave mine in the 'off' position when not needed. When needed I turn them to the necessary sensitivity. My wife does too on her car.

I do like it when they start automaticly. In European cars you MUST always turn then on, now when it start raining the JGC start wiping. TOP.
No problem with the settings, mostly in 2.

I use setting 1 or 2 and they work as designed. Another unnecessary feature that I've really come to like.

"A luxury once enjoyed becomes a necessity."
Now what we need is a tiny wiper for the rear camera lens.

Got 'em, love that option. Have not had any trouble with them. When it is not raining: the wipers are off in my vehicle.
