Couple of quick questions Re: 05 WK Ltd

My rear lift gate lamp seems to be burned out. At least it doesn't come on when I lift the gate. How do I replace the lamp? Do I have to remove the interior panel or does the lens just snap on, twist on? Also, I bought a complete set of inside replacement door handle pockets from Parts-Pros on Ebay. They look like exact OEM replacement parts and the color matches my interior perfectly. I was suprised by that. Anyone have any experience installing these? Thanks for any info.

I have to replace mine! I get it back from the shop today so I might replace it on this nice day!

The rear light lens just pops out. I used a small screwdriver, with tape over it to reduce scratching, and just pryed it off. It can be a pain to snap back on since the socket sinks in with the clear lens off. Just be patient. I have an 08 so it may be different, but prolly not.

Yeah it's a real PITA. If you can't do it how Redpit states you will have to take off some screws for the rear panel and pull it (panel) off at the push-tabs. WKJeeps.com has this pic and info http://wkjeeps.com/interior_trim.htm#LIFTGATE
The Engineer gets an F for this design.
