Time Incorrect

3 day old 2012 Overland. RHR unit. Today while traveling, I noticed the time was about 30 minutes slow. After I restarted the car, the time was correct. What might cause that?

I have noticed with the 430N (RHB) that the time can be waaaaayyyyy off if the vehicle has not been used for a couple of days. My system is setup to derive the time from GPS. Once the vehicle is started and GPS signal is acquired, the time is quickly reset to the correct time. Can be rather disconcerting to head off to an appointment, do a quick look at the time and see that the clock is not even close to accurate. However, as soon as the unit acquires sufficient satellites to perform mapping it also updates the time.

Thanks. As mentioned, it's probably the GPS time. Today the time was always correct.

I did not know that. Thanks. As I have said several times, I learn something almost everytime I am on this forum.
