jeep halos

I used to post alot.

I havent posted in 6 months or longer.

Just wanted to stop in and say your HALOS SUCK!

I spent well over 1,000 dollars on a quad projector retrofit, tons of time and effort painting, wiring, used a multifunction remote, etc etc

I always followed conservative measures like never turning them on before starting the car or turning the car off to avoid voltage spikes.

It has been less than 6 months and I now have 4 burnt out leds.

and no Im not interested in a warranty claim.

Im not tearing back into my headlights just to have this happen again.

If you charge 200 dollars for some rings, at least up your quality.

I also dont want to hear people say "you need a regulator".

If this is the case, why does the company not provide them and say these are 14 volts and none is required.

it all boils down to quality issues......

that is all........

Sorry to hear brotha but im experiencing the same. On my passengers side, 6-8 leds gave out and i barely turn em on. I dont think they were even on for a total of 2 hours. I know they offer to fix it but i might just send em in and try to sell the entire headlugt assembly. I hope others are having better luck

Re: jeep halos

agreed. i'm sending them in to them in a few weeks.

my fogs are completely messed up. and one ring on the headlight has a flicker issue. 4 of them in a row almost strobe. them dim up and down

I live 30 minutes away from them. going to call them and get it straightened out.
they burned out so quick and i even had a dimmer on them.

i thought they would last atleast 2 years straight without problems.

it takes a few phone calls. their office is small and its only 2 guys running it.
so i cut them slack. but i remember them offering a warranty on these things.
and i live close... so unless they move over night, i will find them.

Re: jeep halos

That's one of the reasons why I didn't install halos when I retrofitted. I didn't want to take the chance.

Damn dude. You're headlights are nice too.

Re: jeep halos

correction, WERE nice LOL

I mean, I got some serious money wrapped up in these things!

quad projectors, halos, 4 hid kits, multi remote etc

now they look like crap!!!!!!!!!

all the leds blown are separate from each other and stands out like a sore thumb!

Im going to just get those prepainted black ones off ebay, slap the stillens on them and be done

PS, FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF HALOS!!

Re: jeep halos

I NEVER had issues with the ccfl tubes.....other than a once a year blown inverter.....but that was easily fixed!!

this led thing is garbage!

and the money they charge on top of it KNOWING they get them in bulk from China for about 5 or 10 bucks a ring is BS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

just like all that time they made all these group members wait while they were being "made"....such BS

we all know you guys were waiting until you gathered enough member money to fulfill the bulk chinese order......
