reps year round? anyone?

im looking at possibly running a set of black reps on my WK next year, and i was wondering with the proper rubber on them- would you run them year round? being in md, would the road daalt do any damage to the finish on the black reps? i know the chrome reps would mostlilely be damaged.

if you run yours year round, what tires do you run? thanks for the helo fellas.

You could always Plasti-dip them for the winter! :)

there are a few members that run them year round. Frankie (stugots) does, so a quick search on him should do the trick. I use my stockers for the winter.

im taking mine off for the winter, i have the black gloss reps and i have all seasons on them but i dont think they could handle the winter here and i dont want to ruin them with the salt and stuff on the roads during the winter

^ same. We dont get too much snow in NYC but when we do i take the opportunity to take the Jeep out and have fun in it. Im just worried about ice scraping the wheel and leaving marks.

Yeah, Why not? It would make a barrier between the clear coat and salt. Peel it off in the spring and they'll look new again!
