I decided to post a few pics on how to take off the button light covers to install the interior LED's. I got a email from Frankie asking about what I had received in my kit and if it was correct. It was a bit tricky with the removal but i have included some pics to kinda show how this is removed.

I hope this helps. :)

You will need a cheap set of jewelry screwdrivers (flathead really)

Insert the screwdriver here, push toward the windshield and pull down on the lens as there is a plastic tab that you have to "release" You have to give it some force, but it seems to be quite strong plastic so i would not worry about breaking it.

Now that the lens is off, there is a metal light deflector, pull it straight out.

When taking out stock bulbs they will be hot as hell FYI!

Take out old put in new!

You can choose to put in light deflectors back in if you want to. I left mine off. It is brighter without them.

Do the same with the rear courtesy lights.

As far as the footwells, liftgate, licenseplate, and glove box its a bit more self explanitory.

Footwells: pop off the white lens cover to get at the bulb...
I left the light covers off the foot well lights as when they are on it really makes them dark too.

*just make sure you test the LEDs before you install them, in the walk through on that link the guy had one that wasnt the right color, and in my order of like 20 leds i had one that was yellow in my red bag. but the company still makes a great product and i cant get enough of them, i just need more money.

yes it is, i love it. the nice thing is everything is prewired with resistors, so all you need is a 12v source.

i also did a grill strip from them

i used the same write up rob and it's great!!! i would def countersink the leds just a little so they come down more... make sure you put them as back as possible towards the door. otherwise they will hit the liner!!! good luck... very easy install and i know you can def do it with one eye closed:)

imo - this is a very important mod for anyone that uses the trunk at night like i do!!!

ill work the dremel to countersink them. and measure twice, drill once.

Thanks Irf.

May I ask what you do in there in the dark all the time? Do you work nights? Or does this have to do with Penn and fishing and such?

i dont really work at night, but its nice to have to just open the back glass to get things out of the back of the jeep either shopping at night, or getting home and grabbing things.
