Dual Mode Exhaust

Has anybody looked into installing an exhaust system that utilises one of the dual mode exhaust mufflers, Similar to those in the late model Vette's?

I really like the idea of keeping the stock sound while having the ability to hit the switch and unleash the fury whenever you feel like it :)

I've found this company down here in AUS but was hoping somebody had already tried something similar ???

I had electric cutouts on my 04 F150 and on my 04 CTS-V. Put the Y-pipe just ahead of the stock muffler and then the electric cutout on the end of the Y. When closed you have stock exhaust, when open there's no muffler and its loud! The system below is a guillotine style. The Quicktime QTEC and others of the same style are a buttlerfly style that over time will very likely start to rattle on ya. (all mine did) If i ever do cutouts again im going with the guillotine style for sure!

The good thing is you dont have to open them all that way. You can open them as much as you want and control the volume

Q-TECS below. I had a set years ago, so maybe they've solved the rattle issue by now; but with the guillotine style above i dont think theres a way it could rattle
