Tires and steering control...?

This is Jose again and I want to know if anyone out there other than me has this kind of problem. I put 32 or maybe 34 cant remember but anyways the tires are on the factory rims and since I added these tires there has been a huge change in the steering. There is a lag I want to say in the way that when I turn that I can move the steering wheel to the sides a bit and the truck will not turn. The tires say 40 psi and the tires are at that and since the rims are only 16s could it be that the pressure is to low or what? What have you done about this if you had the same problem. Winter is coming up soon and I don't want to buy new winter tires because the ones I have are new. Can I add more air in the tires? The old ones are 225/70/16 and they are small compared to the new ones and skinyer when it comes to with. Could it be the with that causes it? Let me know. This does effect my driving but not by much and want to fix it before the winter

what size tires are you running?
any lift?
have the tie rods been replaces at all?

the PSI cant do much unless you have to big of a tires and there filing up the well allot.

Re: Tires and steering control...?

your tires are rubbing on something.
biggest tires with no lift for WJ is 245/75R16

either lift the wj or trim fenders

Re: Tires and steering control...?

There is no way the tires are rubbing on anything. I have had the tires on there since early November waiting for the snow to fall. The tires have no wear markings there is no noise when you turn to any side and and I have removed the tires several times to check if they where and nothing, the tires fit perfectly on there.
