Summit wheel installed

You can go over to the "How to" section and check out my First installment in disassembling you steering wheel to dye it.

Well I guess the modding bug has caught me with our WK2's; there are two in our driveway.

1. Brilliant silver 2011 Laredo E Package

2. Deep Cherry 2012 Laredo X Package

Both cars are equipped with V6 engines, moonroof, keyless enter and go, mopar chrome package, interior dark/mid greystone. The 2011 had custom katzkin leather interior (Overland inspired) with perforated sections and dark grey piping.

Current list of mods is minimal :

Chrome Door handles (both)
Katzkin custom Leather interor ('11)
Mopar pedals (both)
Custom made rubber dead pedals (both) I can make two more if anyone is interested
Scuff plates with center sections painted aluminum (both) looks dramatically better looking than those ugly one color plastic scuff plates on the laredo (this was literally my first mod)
Custom made Key holders (located where transfer case switch would be) Both
Overland Summit Steering wheel custom dyed( one done, on to go)
Painted engine cover (on the '11)

Future Mods:
Overland Grille ('12)
Limited/Overland lower bumper chrome (both)
Limited/Overland rear bumper step trim (both)
Overland Summit 20" wheels (both)

I have been so busy lurking here and modding that I have'nt shined both up at the same time and taken any decent pictures as yet.

The '12 had a fender bender the other day so I am upgrading the grille to an overland

Looks good! I'd add some floor liners to your list to. The cardboard kind of detracts from the nice wheel. ;)

LOL, you noticed my temporary mat protectors, I haven't decide what mats to get as yet, when I picked up the car there was cardboard on the floor of the driver's footweel. It has been raining here regulary so I took some spare cardboard and peices in the shape of all the mats.

Yeah it is not my style but it beats, going through a couple cans of Tuff Stuff carpet cleaner every time I clean the car. I wished that the carpet was black like the limited/overland with frost interior.

The key holder sounds interesting, through a shot of it in on the next time around.
