Re: Jeep Rookie Question

I see ESP Off , Hazard lights and 110 outlet. That is it.

Thought maybe it would be (according to the manual) in the things I can scroll through from the steering wheel, but can't find it.

Re: Jeep Rookie Question

I assume all of them have a Trip Odometer, correct?

Likely a Miles to Empty deal too?

This picture from wkjeeps.com is for 2005-2007 and it's the black bar above the HVAC controls. Menu and then step to get to trip OD. The pic for 2008 does not show this bar though???

Re: Jeep Rookie Question

Steering wheel, press button that looks like piece of paper. Keep pressing that until you see something related to gas mileage or miles to empty, etc. When you see that use the down arrow until you see a Trip meter - you will have two (A and B).

Re: Jeep Rookie Question

Wow! I thought I was the only one that had trouble with this yesterday. I searched for the answer, made several trips to the jeep...... Could not figure it out. Then I discovered that if you don't see a milage info during the repeated steps of the menu button, stop on the "UNITS" page and then press the down arrow. You should then be in the group of trip and mileage displays.;)

Re: Jeep Rookie Question

this is what worked. Did it by accident without seeing this post. Basically frustration/random buttn pushing and it popped up. Worked like it was supposed to since then..

Re: Jeep Rookie Question

have to agree most complicated piece o crap ever, wonder how many people have rear ended others just trying to figure out that damn evic. anyone else notice that if you try and reset your avg mileage while youre driving with the cruise on it sometimes dosent change the numbers (if the avg is the same as current avg) wouldnt you think it would go to zero than climb back up so that you actually knew it was reset

Re: Jeep Rookie Question

I know what your going through.... When i bought my '08 (brand new) it took me a bit to figure out the symbols on the steering wheel, but you'll get the hang of it! :D
