Anyone have a Laredo E with Remote Start?

Hi all, first post here! I don't have my Cherokee yet... but very, very soon...

I have a specific question for those of you with the Laredo E and Remote Start:

When you start the vehicle remotely, does the heat/air return to the last setting it was at when the car was turned off? Or does the system start "off" each time the vehicle starts. (This sort of defeats the purpose of remote start, which is exactly why I'm asking.)

I specify "Laredo E" specifically because I think all the other trim levels have automatic climate control, which does do what I'm wanting.

*I'm asking specifically about the vehicles with that old-school control of fan speed and blue vs red temp!*

I found an old thread that discussed this when I was searching the other day (couldn't seem to find it tonight...) but everyone got confused and the question was never actually answered. Thanks for your help if you have this setup and can help me!

Here's the deal. When you use remote start the A/C starts. If you look from the outside the A/C digital display will be OFF but you can feel the air coming out of the vents. Since the display is OFF it is hard to know for sure what settings it has but my guess is that it uses the last settings it had when used. Hope this helps.

I've used the remote starter just about everyday since it's been cold here...works perfectly...just remember to put heat on high and click your heated seat button so your seat is starting to get warm before you get in...
