Proof other Mineral Gray SRT8s exist, Schelp's Truck

I can't believe it, they really do exist!! Drove it off the lot at 8pm on 14 Dec 2011 after signing the papers. Ordered it 9 June 2011!! Had tint done by 1pm the following day. This truck is well worth the wait, love it so far. Owning both, I can say the new model is a much better vehicle. The WK1 is much more raw and "jerky", especially with the CAI and tune, but once tuning for the WK2 SRT8 is available the WK1 will not have a chance in hell.

I paid $58,659 for the truck (that does not include tax/tags/reg), that's $1250 over price protected invoice. I basically threw that number at them as an offer and they accepted it without argument. Our debate came on my trade, they offered $15,500 in June for my GTO which is still in great condition, they said now they "can't see more than $12,500" for it. I called BS, 2004's are going for that at auction. So I pulled the GTO at the last second so they couldn't make any back end money. The crazy thing, negotiating a price wasn't bad, it was getting them to negotiate that was a pain in the ass.

Anyway, without further ado, here are the pics from this afternoon. I'll have more this weekend when my wife returns home with Delivery pics that are on her billion dollar Canon:

Finally a big CONGRATS to you. It's good to hear your joy on the WK2 Jeep. It looks proud sitting there in your driveway. After it breaks in over time, it will feel even nicer. It will also get louder if you look forward to that!

I'm going to f-ing cry in a little while when I get the new plates and have to put that abomination of a bracket/plate on the front :( :( :( I can't get out of it either as I go through a guarded gate every day.

P.S. Man, I just realized how depressing it looks around my house in winter when all of the giant trees lined behind the houses aren't filled in with green leaves.

there is no place to put it. In the center it would block the ACC unit. To each side of the center point there are approx. 8" wide slits that feed air above the belly pan for cooling and aerodynamics.

If the bumper was like all of the other models you could just screw into the little dimples on the front of the bumper. But the SRT bumper between the LED running lights is not flat, it's concave, so no dimples and it requires a bracket to make a flat surface.

AWESOME PICS....CONGRATS!

I don't know what the laws are in every state or where legally it needs to be but I plan on just rubber banding it to my passenger visor and flipping that down....not sure how long that will last before a cop actually gives me a ticket.

In texas :State law requires that you display two (2) license plates, one to the front and one to the rear. Placement or mounting of license plates is NOT DEFINED!

Thanks. This color is so awesome it blows me away. As for tint percentage, don't know, I just told them to match the back. I know it's illegal though LOL. I am pretty sure it is 20% Their next step down is 5% which is almost impossible to see through.
