Bad O2 without code?
Can an O2 sensor be bad and NOT throw a code? I am still having a rough idle and unless it's me, I think the Jeep is running below its potential.
I wish someone close to me had an HO so I could compare how this thing is supposed to sound/run.
My only other means of comparison is my 4.6 interceptor and it sounds and feels so much more powerful, but the stats show the HO is a more powerful engine than my Ford cruiser.

The jeep is a much heavier vehicle, you also have to consider the torque

Re: Bad O2 without code?
Did you already check the O2 sensors output voltages with the OBDII scanner, as suggested in previous thread?
And the fuel pressure at the rail, is that ok?

Re: Bad O2 without code?
I dont have access to a scanner. Fuel pressure at rail appears to be sufficient, but again, I have no means of checking that either.
I took the jeep to the dealer and they ran a diagnostic and replaced the cats. All else is "ok", but I still think something is not right.
The dealer is not an original Jeep dealer. They are a Dodge dealer that just recently became a Jeep dealer also. I dont think they know what they are doing.
