SRT8 Brembo's on XJ Cherokee
Just finished making a conversion to fit the SRT8 Brembo 4 piston calipers to my 95 XJ Cherokee.
These are all the pieces I came up with to do the conversion.
The brackets I made bolt to the back of the knuckle
They are big!
The rotors I used with a matching 5x4.5"pcd are from a Ford Territory Turbo and measure 340mm/13.5" and 32mm thick.
They fit nicely behind my 17" rims too.

Re: SRT8 Brembo's on XJ Cherokee
Was a tight fit in my 17's, but have a bit over the recommended 1/8" minimum clearance.
Didn't do any stop tests before hand and had already been running a twin piston conversion I made up before this. Very similar calipers to the stock WK ones actually and found they would bolt to my old brackets.

Re: SRT8 Brembo's on XJ Cherokee
Only been driving with them a day and they give much more feel and less effort than what I had before. Pulls up straighter too. Might have to find some matching rear ones although already have upgraded the rear a few times and run 330mm rotors there.

Nice work man. Always good to see some custom fabbed stuff for the Jeeps! Did you make the caliper brackets yourself and what did you make them from? Assume its a real strong alloy haha, the force on that thing is pretty great under some heavy braking! I bet you could probably do a limited run on some of those for other owners with some interest just because that's one of those products that really opens some big doors  bravo

Re: SRT8 Brembo's on XJ Cherokee
Made the brackets myself and drew up a dxf file so they could be cut from 10 mm steel plate by a laser. Stand offs are actually from a crow bar! Had the brackets zinc plated afterwards.
Actually have a extra set of brackets that I didn't end up using due to a mix up. I had already converted to twin piston Ford calipers some time ago and borrowed a spare caliper to do the comparison with the Brembo for the design work. Was given a later model version but told it was exactly the same but turned out it wasn't by a 1/8" from the mounting holes to the edge of the pad. So was not happy when the Brembo didn't ride on the very edge of the rotor when bolting up for the first time so had to make new brackets from scratch all over again!

This update is not on there but have a whole web site on the modifications to my Jeep STILLA.

Awesome work! Did you upgrade the master cylinder as well? I did a Rusty's rear disc conversion on my brothers 88XJ which has worked well, Will be doing something to the front, maybe the ZJ calipers and rotors and see how that turns out.

Re: SRT8 Brembo's on XJ Cherokee
thats a huge mod list! everything looks good too.

i did some mods to my xj back in the day but nothing like this though. i saw you also did the white face gauges and allmn bezel-- it looks great like that. i also did that but i thought leaving the top two indicators black to have some contrast. however the lighting you added wasnt ever thought of back then.
