Midnight Blue WK Accent Color Opinions

Hello Forum!

I have a 2006 Wk that is PB8 Midnight Blue and I am going to begin the process of painting a ton of faded and generally ugly pieces on it.
My jeep is a stock Laredo with all grey interior. (when money gets more plentiful, upgrades will follow)

The plan is painting the rear step, front and rear windshield wipers (not the blades), grill, wheels, and the cover that is underneath the front windshield wipers.
I need some opinions on the color to paint them. My current plan is graphite.

Blacked out jeeps are slick but it doesn't look as good to do that on a PB8.

Thoughts?

we have the same color. i upgraded to an 08-10 front end and i had a few trim pieces painted. i painted the door handles, lower air dam, the side skirts, the rear hatch cover, and the mirrors. here are some pics of mine, the bottom pic is the newest one with the mirrors.

Hey Svenska! I have looked a number of times at your build. Looks great! My jeep looks nearly identical to the 3rd picture you have posted - once you got the Destination A/Ts. Yours and sweetjeep99's threads have reminded me that stock is boring :)

I guess my goal is finding something that could possibly be stock and look clean like your set up, but still stand out. And not something that would stand out as much as when jeff05wk was talking about painting his brakes yellow.

The most noticable thing for me paint wise was when i added mirror covers. That totally transformed the look imo, so i would start there. I also really like the hatch handle being painted as well as the door handles. I would stay away from painting the rear step because i think it will just scratch easily. Have you tried using back to black on it? Of you can spray it with bedliner to keep it looking black but remain scratchfree

It wasnt paint, but removing the fat side moldings made a huge difference!

I never noticed how much smaller the overland door moldings were than the black ones.

Has anyone painted those pieces we are talking about any color other than PB8 and really liked how it looked against the PB8 body?
