Golly, Mr. Dillon, 100 whole miles without needing oats or coal. What'll they think of next?

I thought 100 miles was pretty impressive for a 5k pound SUV.

^^^ I thought so too maybe he doesnt realize that even the new Chevy Volt only goes 80 or so on full electric. So 100 on a huge fully optioned SUV sounds pretty damn impressive to me. I wonder how they convert these things and I wonder how it all works? Sounds pretty cool!

Not when a Tesla Model S 4 door sedan gets 300 miles.

An analysis was recently made of all the various government subsidies that have gone into the Volt. Depending on how this is calculated, these run $60,000-220,000 per car. For that, the user gets (count 'em) 80 miles of driving range and still pays too much.

A WK2 V6 goes 400 miles per tank without requiring one Watt of polluting electricity or one dime of subsidy (excluding the bankruptcy).
