After market lights from ebay

Hey guys, I wanted to change my factory lights to ones with projectors. I found these ones on ebay and love the style of them. It says its for 08-09 though.

Does anyone know if the lights from those years fit onto an 07 (which I have)? Will it be different wiring hookups or is the housing a different size and wont fit into the car. Thanks allot for any responses to this.

Search around, lots of good info on this site about this topic, but in short:

They will fit and they should wire up with little to no modification as far as I know. But TMK, the main issue is the little gap under the high beam.
In 2008 Jeep changed the bumper design and added the humps to come flush up under the headlights, so you will have a gap as a result of your flat 2007 style bumper. You could make a piece to fill the gap, but can you make it look OEM, that is the question?

Thanks for the reply, Im going to go ahead and pull the trigger on them, i found a thread on here where someone cut the humps from an 08 bumper and molded them in, it looked really good.

I really want projectors though and still want it to be blacked out. I would prefer to get the overland projector lights but I still want them black. Any suggestions

Ya, buy a set of 05-07 replica headlights from A1auto, and a set of bi-xenon morimoto mini projectors, open up the headlights, paint them black and install the projectors then seal them up.

You can do all of this for under $250.

eBay projectors are not bi-xenon so you won't get the nice cut off line that you will get from the Morimotos.

Re: After market lights from ebay

^ how are the morimotos? Are they good quality or like those cheap bi-xenons that you can get from ebay and install them in just about any headlight housing?

Ive done similar mods with motorcycle headlights

and fitted them with ccf halos, But I always used INfinity FX-35's or the FX-R's. How well do those morimotos fit into the jeep housing?

Re: After market lights from ebay

i bought those for my '10. figured id give em a try. ive had them installed for about half a year now without any problems, other than them fogging up sometimes for a couple of minutes after i wash it at the carwash (which could probably be fixed with some sealant). as far as cutoff goes they actually have a really sharp horizontal cutoff. i just ordered an hid kit for them today so ill post pics once i have them installed. yeah they are ebay lights. i dont care. i bought them because they were unique and i like halos. if they break i still have the stock lights so it doesnt scare me very much.
