1.5 spacer rub with rubicon tires mehh?

so i picked up some rubicon tires and wheels to go on my 09 over land and yeah they fit lovely on the rear but don't clear the caliper in the front.. no biggie ill get a spacer... but i feel like since im not lifted if i get a big spacer aka 1.25 or 1.5 inch they will rub on the fender. since im not lifted :/ and i really don't want a do 1/4 inch spacers do to the fact of not wanting to get longer studs. what do u guys think:confused:

At full lock you will have slight rubbing on the fender liners up front.

As far as spacers... go for the 1.25" spacers, it will stance the truck nicely with those rims/tires.

i guess im gonna try 1/4 inch spacers and see where it gets me.. i don't want to lift it yet since i feel like it might void my 8-80,000 warranty

If I was you, I would leave the spacers alone. And I would definately not get them "for the look".

I would grind down the caliper so that they fit without spacers. And you don't need a lift. You will need to cut the bolt though.

A Jeep dealer is installing them for you? I would shop around and find another shop.

It's all up to you though. It's your Jeep.

lol no no im gonna do it im just saying i don't want to void my powertrain warranty by girding stuff on my caliper and "bolt" :/

I highly doubt shaving the caliper and cutting the bolt will void "power train" warranty.

with or without a lift you will definitely need to fold the pinch weld with 1.25" spacers. and it still might rub a little since you aren't running a lift. so either way you will have to mod your vehicle by grinding the caliper and cutting the bolt or smashing the pinch weld.

how much do u have to grind the caliper?

im pondering gettin some moabs, but im wondering with the price of them and spacers and paint
i might just end up buying a set of rims off ebay, which is $650 shipped...
