Automobile Magazine JGC Overland One Year Wrap Up

This is interesting reading for the people sitting on the fence. To quote the author: "As our year with the Grand Cherokee comes to a close, we prepare to say goodbye to one of the most reliable, comfortable, and versatile Four Seasons vehicles we’ve had come though 120 East Liberty Street." Even early examples can stand up to heavy usage and scrutiny.

X2. Quoted for truth. I can say the same for my September 2010 build date.

Thanks watchdog.

I must say I am pretty damned impressed with mine (2012 Limited). I have driven the X5 and this IMHO exceeds that standard for half the cost. Loving it so far.

Thanks for that. I was wondering when they were going to wrap it up. Great read.

"The small plastic cover to the USB port on the navigation head-unit has finally broken off its flimsy retainer."

That cover on my 430N never latched back in place. I'm going to cut the retainer strap and remove it; the exposed USB port looks cleaner than a piece of plastic hanging at an angle.

Good review, their Jeep was probably not made on a Monday or Friday ;) :D

I wish it was the V-8 instead.

I'm surprised they didn't test the V8 version and impressed they loved the V6 as much as they did. Maybe it's just as well they tested the V6, because if they had to feed the V8, they may have looked at it differently.

I wish I could say the same about my 2011 V8. It's the most uncomfortable vehicle I've ever ridden in or driven. It's going back to the dealership for the fourth time for violent shuddering and vibrations. I really wish I had gone with a different brand.
