Excessive condensation in both foglights

I took delivery of my 2012 Laredo two months ago and noticed that after they washed it, the foglights had moisture on the inside.
I have been observing them because I had mentioned it to my salesman to see if it would clear up.... I was even driving with the foglights on in the day to see if the heat would vaporize the moisture but no such luck.

I took it in a few days ago for service to replace them and the tech says it is normal.....

I disputed that it could not be normal when my JGC was the only one that had moisture inside the foglights, and the fact my Mom's car was purchased a month before mine and I have never seen moisture in her car's foglights and I am the one that washes both cars twice a week, plus the fact that they could find another Grand Cherokee on the lot with any mist in the foglights.

I reluctantly took the car home and resorted to taking picture of both cars every morning to show that something is faulty with the foglights on my car.

Has anyone else had the constant presence of moisture in the foglights on their JGC?

I am going to perform an experiment..... I removed both of them and placed each in a Ziploc with some damprid.... this should absorb all the moisture. .... when I reinstall them I will check to see if the moisture reappears, if it does that means they are faulty and not sealed properly.

This is not normal !. Little "fog" inside fog lights after wash is normal if dry out fast with fog lights on. Don't f...k with them, this is brand new car. Take back to Jeep dealer and ask for new fog lights.

As everyone has stated, you have warranty still, no need to do any work yourself. Head to your dealer and demand it to be repaired.

When I took possesion of my JGC I noticed moisture in both front headlights and both rear tailights. I made them replace all of them. Don't accept the "thats normal" crap that these dealers try to pull. You have to be firm and if they still refuse then contact Jeep and complain. Its not normal and they know it.;)

Interesting I am also seeing condensation in my front left fog light of my new Overland Summit. Will be bringing it in to have a look. I'm wondering how prevalent this is and if all the gaskets keeping them water proof are the issue. Just a guess?
