Seat Covers

Hi All

Looking to protect my front drivers seat and was keen to see if anyone had installed seat covers on there Overland , Is so what brand and does the cover still let the ventilated seat work ?

Just resurrecting this thread, I need a seat cover, drivers seat only, but something that I can easily put on and take off, maybe something with a simple draw string on the back. My last car (Mitsi Pajero)had a great neoprene cover, that was sooo easy to slip on an off. Any ideas Guys? These Overland seats are superb however I can't see the Nappa holding out with my fat ar$3 sliding in and out all day!

Hi GlennR, try supacheap. We bought a throwover car seat cover for the work utes. Cost around $20 to $25 and can be washed and scrunched (or rolled) up and kept in the cargo area if not needed etc.
I've put sheepskin seat covers on my Laredo two front seats but they're not coming off in any hurry, particularly over the headrests, so would not recommend anything like this for you.
Hope this helps.
Scott

The guys from thewetseat got back to me. They will have something ready in a month or so, airbag compatible etc...etc... A bit pricy however they do look the part. My main concern was that a cheapy car seat cover can actually damage the leather underneath more than denim if it is not a good tight snug fit. (Seatcover I mean, not tight jeans!!)

The WK2 will be a new product line, seat only, no headrest as they are not detachable.
