Side Window Air Deflectors

So as far as I know my Jeep never came with air deflectors and I'm thinking about buying a kit. Anyone with the deflectors, did they come stock with your Jeep and do you like them?

I like being able to crack my windows when the Jeep is parked at work on a hot, sunny or rainy day. You can't tell they are cracked from outside because these hide that. They are also great for getting fresh air on a rainy day without soaking your interior door panel. If you like the look, they are worth it in my opinion. I think it looks incomplete to only have fronts though. Mine are not stock...they are AutoVentshades I got at the Zone for under $60. I debate removing them sometimes...but they do serve a function that I'm not willing to give up right now

Psssh.... i like to to crack my window and let the fresh breeze roll through while it is drizzling - what are you guys driving a caddy?

haha. here i am out taking my jeep to the hurricane Irene and parking right infront of the Chesapeake bay with windows down.... letting the gust roll through.

I love them! I have the in-channel autoventshades and also bought them from autozone.. great addition to my jeep and will put them on my future vehicles... The in-channels look better imo..

Re: Side Window Air Deflectors

Do they simply stick to the side of the jeep?

What is the difference between the 'in channel" and "the others"?

In-channels go between the window and the window trim molding, others stick to the paint or trim outside of the window...

@99PlatinumWJ: That sounds good, So you guys definitely prefer Auto Vent Shades over a lot of others? How much for a 4 piece set when you bought it?

There are other brands, but at the time I couldn't afford the $100 camouflage ones I really wanted so I bought these. $50 from autozone and I've had them for 2 years with no problems at all. Like I said I love them. Easy to install and a great price...

Not bad at all, Sometimes when I looked at WJ's, I often thought "Something looks missing" and I can see that air deflectors definitely improve the look.

They are very functional too. Great on hot summer days to let air in when parked or when raining like Tony stated..
