Re: Weathertech window deflectors
I have them. They work great in this nasty new england weather. They only have them for the front.

Do you by chance have your front windows tinted? Just wondering if having these would cause any damage to the tint since it looks like the glass rest on them.

Also is it possible to see a pic or two?

Re: Weathertech window deflectors
I posted some pics of the front & rear weather tech in channel vent visors. Search (in channel vent visors) in the thread. It was posted on 11/17/11.
Hope you could find it.

Can one of you guys take a picture of the Jeep from the front so I can see how far they sick out?

I took my cellphone down theo the garage to get you an answer, so I hope this is helpful. Forgive the crappy Blackberry plus dirty car plus garage lighting.

Basically, they don't stick out much - less than an inch (the pic with the ruler didn't come out), about the width of a finger between the closed window and the deflector. I also took a shot from about where my eyes are (leaned the seat back) so you can see that they dim the gap between the A pillar and the exterior mirror. The picture makes it look darker than it is, it's translucent but I'd guess the equivalent of a 20% tint.

Also, make sure you rain-x your driver window - the deflector breaks up the drainage path/airstream from where the wipers deposit water, so rain can come off the bend in the deflector and splatter on your driver window, effectively blocking your view of your exterior mirror.

All that said, I love the deflectors and wouldn't think twice about getting them again. The people at WeatherTech are great too - I ordered fronts before the rears were available, installed the fronts and signed up to be notified when the rears came in. I found out the rears came in (here, not via email incidentally), went online and learned that they were $40 and the shipping was $15, which struck me as high. I called them to ask if they could send them USPS or something cheaper. I spoke with a very nice woman who said, "That's way too much to pay, I see here you signed up to be notified, we'll waive the shipping." Great customer service, I'll buy from there again.

Re: Weathertech window deflectors

I've got the full set installed about 10 days now with no issues.

Have had these German-made W-tech's on all of my past vehicles as well.

They are a very good company to deal with & customer service is great.

Like 'Echo 22', I had ordered the fronts & rears over a month ago & asked for them to be shipped together when both sets were available & they did, while waiving the $15. S+H altogether for the long wait!

Hope this helps!

P.S.- Echo22, I think you need to rotate those thumbnails clockwise...

They showed up on my computer right-side-up, but turned sideways when I uploaded. Think of it as a necksercise :)

Re: Weathertech window deflectors
I have them installed as well. Obviously it's a do it yourself job. They work well and look great. I also have my windows tinted. No troubles with them and look great on the Silver with the dark tint. To answer your question of how far they stick out... They really don't. They don't go out further than the actual door sill. I'll get a picture for you tomorrow and upload it. The picture of my jeep above is the stock look from when I purchased it.
