in need of a wheel expert

hey
just makin a quick thread as i know jack all about rims even when i read it lol

i looked on WK jeeps and apparently my stock tires had a 50mm offset
im assuming thats +50mm offset

im wondering if a 17" wheel with a 0 offset will fit without spacers or grinding the caliper

im trying to find the offset of the moab wheel so i can compare..

on the other side, has anyone grinded their caliper?
got any pics?

thanks!
sorry for another wheel thread http://www.jeepforum.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

or is it even the offset that makes them not fit?

Re: in need of a wheel expert

Mrtosh tried to run a 0mm offset on his huge wk and didnt like it because he had rubbing. But the backspacing also didn't help him. I think(don't hold me to it) that moabs have a +10mm offset. Hope that helps a little

What did you buy? Lol

Re: in need of a wheel expert

they are steel rims
like the soft 8 rim
or pro comp steel rims

cheap and dont mind beating them up when i do some offroading

but ive had some BFG KM1 mud terrains for awhile but they are 17" and im running 18" saharra rims right now
