Help with Vipers.

A friend of mine wants Vipers on her 2012 WK2 ASAP. I didn't recommend the staggered set up because that wouldn't allow for tire rotation.

Factory Reproductions is the only site I am able to find 20" Vipers. I am recommending the 20x9 Vipers with 265/50/20 Firestone Destination ST because they have the best rating in their class on tirerack.com

Wheels: http://www.factoryreproductions.com/...-Black-c24.htm

Tires: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....Destination+ST

Will this set up work?

Will the wheels clear the calipers?

Those tires shouldn't rub right? I do know that the stock tires are 265's.

If you know a better place to get wheels, can you post a link?

Re: Help with Vipers.

WOW! 24 active members and not a response yet. We work a lot faster on the WK forum.

Anyway. I called Factory Reproductions and got all the info I need.

Thanks Jeep92, a WK owner, for your quick response in another thread.

I will post pictures soon. She's also throwing on some 48" Yakima cross bars.

Yea Ive also noticed delayed responses in the wk2 vs wk1 forums. I guess the actual vehicle isn't the only thing slower :) I assume there's just fewer members here since its a newer truck.

Post up the pics, id like to see them :)

No. There are actually more active WK2 members than WK members. I know the thread hasn't been up long but I'm just use to fast and very helpful responses on the WK forum.

Go WK's. Lol.

Yeah. I'll post pics. I think a Viper wheel set up with a low profile roof rack will look awesome.

Here's a picture for starters. She's on the far left and she's single. Maybe the WK2 guys will post and help now. I guess I'm not pretty enough.

Yes, the Vipers fit the WK2, offset is less than stock but they look great. There are a couple of threads in the WK2 forum.

You should buy Robpp's Vipers and tires. Search here or in Classifieds.

The black chrome wouldn't suit her black WK2 well. I wouldn't think.

I'm recommending that she get the machined face and lip with the black on the inside.

Re: Help with Vipers.

Here is the look we are trying to accomplish. Only I'm recommending staggeredless for the ability to rotate tires. So that means 20x9 all the way around.

She also want cross bars which would look great. Sporty and rugged is what she wants.

wow nice photoshop job!

Yea i always liked the way that one looked. My fiance likes the wk1 srt reps more; but i like the viper reps more. Also if she's going with 20" wheels look at the Cooper Zeon LTZ's. Relatively low profile but still has some nice tread. Someone has pics of these installed on their wk2. Looks good; i think they went with 275/55/20's

Oh and i would definitely go with the unstaggered setup. Tire rotation, spare compatibility, and price are the reasons. The srt may actually need the wider rears, but if not needed i think it'll only be a pita

Pretty sure that's not a photoshop.
.. I've seen pics of the same jeep with several different angles
