Confused on ambient light control

I have a Jeep WK2 Overland in transit. I ordered it on 12/21/11. Anyway, I downloaded both the Owner's Manual and a User's Guide. The latter has a picture od a button just forward of the shift lever on the console. It is called the Ambient Light Color Control. You can push it and the interior lights will change color. I cannot find this button in any pictures of the console, nor is it mentioned in the Owner's Manual. Does this thing exist? Is it new for 2012 or was it a previous feature that is now gone?

Doesn't exist, it was cut pre-production of the 2011's.

Correct if I'm wrong but I believe that feature didn't make it to manufacturing floor. One of those things that was printed, but never implemented.

I thought the Ambient Lighting was a Mopar Accessory, which was fitted by dealers

It is, however the integrated switch the OP is referring to never made it to production, but is pictured which causes some confusion.

Thanks so much to y'all. Send some pics when I get my rig. Actually it's for my wife but I'll have to learn how to use all the bells and whistles as described in a 700 page owners manual.

I only played with it in the 2011 Durango. I thought it was fun (for 2 minutes) and pretty cool.

I was confused (disappointed) when I saw that they had that in the Jeep manual but not the vehicle itself. You can buy a kit from Mopar if you really want it.
