hwy speed drone type sound under certain conditions

I have a 2011 Overland V6 with currently 5k miles on the clock. The Jeep has been great except for a strange sound that is noticeable at hwy speeds. It usually occurs between 65-75mph and is more of a drone sound with a slight higher pitch sound to it. The best way to describe is it's very similar to the sound you get when going over an overpass or change in concrete on a freeway. It can be slightly felt in the wheel but it's not a true vibration...it's the sound transferring through the steering wheel that is felt. It's similar to a "rubbing" sound and occurs when appying the throttle and sometimes when coasting at hwy speeds only and it's not felt all the time. I'm thinking it's related to the front axle as it's definitely coming from the front of the jeep. It's very faint, but it bothers me and I can't pinpoint what it is.

I know the description is very vague, but it's very difficult to describe and I'm hoping to come up with a few ideas before describing it to my dealer.

I may wait until I get more miles on it before pressing the issue.
Any thoughts?

Is it like the sound reported in this thread?

Re: hwy speed drone type sound under certain conditions

i've read that thread as well, and while it seems to occur around the same conditions, mine does not have that define high pitch ring to it. I would have it back to the dealer immediately if I had to hear that everytime on the hwy. It could be related, but the thread sounds more like 100% electrical where mine seems more like axle/transfercase/engine/road conditions etc.
