Oem 05-07 projectors, possible?

Just a random thought.

Would this be somehow possible to remove a certain part of this town and country projector to fit into the 05-07 WK headlight? Seeing that this is a Chrysler product, would it work?

Any comments are appreciated.

I would say it would require some serious retrofitting and not worth it. Probably wouldn't be able to get it to fit anyways, but I'm just guessing.

You'd have to retrofit it - and as Matt said it might not even fit. Plus if you're going to retrofit a projector might as well go with a really nice, high quality projector from a MB, BMW, etc....

there are lots of Infinity and acura projectorz/ballasts on ebay. You would have to seperate the lamps and just cut a hole the size of the projector and mount it. I have seen it done on a WK. The wiring could be done similar do what I did with my 08 projector lamps.

I was thinking about that. And thanks for reminding me. Personally I feel that these OEM projectors are better than prolly X amount of HIDS out there. I'm sure this might offend some members and vendors but this is just my opinion. (no intention of:slapfight:)

I only say that because the light actually projects out instead of just scattered light on the road. Sorry IRF! I read this before but when I walk at night and look at the cars at the road, I can actually tell the difference from a projector compared to a reflected light. So if I was to do a light upgrade, I'm really aiming to do all that retrofitting. But thats prolly later on in my jeep life.

The End.

Paul-you could also buy a damaged set of Jeep 08 HID lamps and retrofit them to your 07 lamps...would be very easy that way. I bought a damaged 08 HID lamp for like $50 shipped

How difficult was that. Maybe explain it in like 1-3 sentences...?
