WK Rear Wiper Problem!!
I have a 2005 Grand Cherokee. Something is up with the rear wiper; it works just fine if the switch for the rear wiper is already in the "on" position when I start the truck. If the switch is "off" and I try to use the rear wiper after the truck is started...nothing. Doesn't make any difference what speed it is at. My guy looked at it for a quick second when I had it in for something else; he said that he thought I needed a new motor ($200+). That doesn't really seem the right solution seeing as how it works prefectly fine if the switch is in the "on" position when I start the car. Sounds like possilby an wiring/electrical problem, or possibly on of the fuses for the rear wiper. Has anyone else had this problem or think they might have an idea what the problem might be?

Re: WK Rear Wiper Problem!!
motors are much cheaper than that from advance auto and they are simple to replace yourself. i had to replace mine because it had water damage.

Re: WK Rear Wiper Problem!!
you have multiple speeds on youre rear wiper? seems like mine is either on or off, delay far as the motor, seems like if it works at all its not the motor. beyond that cant really help you but id suspect the switch
