Got Some Parts Painted

Just got some parts painted by Scott's Paint and Performance. Couldn't wait to get them back on the ride since I've driving around without them. Got the grille, lower fascia plate, and rear brow done. Took some pics late yesterday afternoon. It's funny how the stone white looks different in certain light.

Next will be the mirror caps, roof rack rails, and the rear step pad trim. Thanks again Scott!

Looks mean! Good work, have you thought about doing the fog light bezels in white ?

I like the rear brow! I'd also like to know about the removal, the small button has me stumped.

Let me know how the mirrors go, I want to do mine as well.

I saw a post someone did on removing the rear brow. I have to find it and add it here. The back of the brow has inserts with tabs at the ends. There are 4-5 on the top and the bottom. The tabs on the bottom ones face downward so I decided to start there. I just used a bunch of trim sticks (from Harbor Freight) and started slowly prying from the bottom. The brow sits on a plastic frame that houses the camera and lic plate wiring. Make sure you insert the trim sticks between the brow and the frame and not the body and frame. Work you way across the bottom. Once the inserts are visible, I used a small flat screw driver and pushed the tabs up until it cleared the plastic frame. The top becomes easier once the bottom is loose. It's hard to visualize without pics. I'll try to take some when I help another member do theirs. The button us a seperate piece and just sits in a rubber grommet once the brow is pulled off.

There's easy instruction on justforjeeps on removing the mirror caps.

I'm still debating on which way to go with it. I kinda like the contrast of the black.

I think some chrome fog bezels would finish off that front end just perfect.

Can the chrome Jeep emblem on the 2012 tailgate be sanded or filled in to "debadge" and be refinished in the original body color ?
