Good deal on Overland, yes?

Just looking for confirmation this is a good price on an Overland. I can't find one equipped this way locally so will end up ordering it, tomorrow -- if you guys confirm the price is good.

Overland 4x4
V8
Adaptive Cruise

My price is $41,990 plus TT&L, which is:

MSRP 47,410
Invoice 44,458
Rebate -1,000
Holdback -1,395
----------------
Total $42,063

My price $41,990.

Seems too good to pass on. I am not an employee or getting affiliate pricing. It took some haggling to get here, but I am pleased.

You guys agree?

He is saying 4 weeks for it to be delivered, does that sound right to you guys? He wants a $500 deposit which is refundable if I want to walk away at any time.

The only remaining question is Black or Mineral Gray. I will go to see them side by side tomorrow before deciding.

I forgot to mention I am paying cash, and told him this. But if anything, I figure this makes the deal "less sweet" (less profitable) to him because he gets zero kickback on the financing.

I kinda get the "too good to be true" feeling here, which is why I wanted advice.

Your prices in the USA are fabulous!

how are you getting the holdback discount? wouldn't the dealer be losing money there? best price here for the exact same options here is $43,303. you got an excellent price!

Picked my Overland up today. Ordered 12/23, processed 1/6, scheduled for build on 1/9, train picked it up on 1/18 and arrive by train on 1/24 from Jefferson Plant to Atlanta and at dealer on 1/25.

Got the FFP price.

Re: Good deal on Overland, yes?

That price is inline with what I had some Chicago dealers competing against eachother for. So no that does not seem too good to be true, and it was similarly equipped with V8 and adaptive cruise. I say go for it, and between black and mineral gray without a doubt get the mineral gray!!!

I say that's a good price, near what I paid for mine. I have everything you have in addition to ORAII. Mine was $44,278.50 out the door inc TTF and stuff.

Oh yeah, I ordered mine around Nov 21, 2011 and it was on the lot around Dec 21, 2011.

So educate me... if dealer gives me 100% of holdback, how do they make money?

Same deal I got on my Summit (Invoice -1000 cash back -hold back - doc fees)

Consumer Reports had this deal and I grabbed it. The only negotiation was for the dealer to drop the doc fees.

I just bought one with the same MSRP and you can do MUCH (>$1000) better than that. I don't know where you live but contact jcox@samleman.com. And sign up for Tread Lightly so you can get affiliate rewards which is worth about $800 on that truck. [but even without that you can do better]
