Re: lifted on 20s

it's all going to depend on the lift, wheels and tires you want...prices range drastically in all of those categories...

X2 you need to do some research on what you want

Re: lifted on 20s

I was thinking of a 3 inch lift and all terrains but not sure about wheels

NikonKiem 01-30-2012 07:56 AM

I'm going the same rout. The lift with new bilstien shocks will run about 500.00. Unless you go Oem and them you looking at about 700.00. Rims/tires will run anywhere from 500.00 up depending on how much you want to spend and how lucky you are.

Putting a/t tires an a 20 inch rim in incredibly expensive, ur talking around 2 grand for a set of tires alone

Re: lifted on 20s

This specific build has been tossed around a bit. 20" wheels and off road tires are going to most likely need a 4" lift, which will run you in the neighborhood of $1,500 + install. The majority of Superlift owners have paid to have them installed due to the complexity. Look up the user NoOne, who is running the Superlift, 20" wheels, and Good year Duratrac tires.
I would say this is going to be ballpark break down for you:
Superlift......................................... ......$1,500
labor for install......................................$800
20x9 black reps from Quadratec................$800
20" A/T tires..........................................$12 00-1600.

It looks like you are going to be pushing 5 grand for this setup, that is why you don't see too many out there running it. Also, 20's are going to give you more of a "look" than an air-down capability, so that's reason #2 you don't see too many running that setup. I've debated running that setup myself, so I'd love to see you put it together.

Good luck!

Re: lifted on 20s

So if i got this setup going on trails and stuff would equal not a good idea or would i still be able to be offroad with this setup

Re: lifted on 20s

you could most definitely off road with this setup. You would just be at a little less advantage in extreme situations where people air down to 8-10 PSI in severe crawling type situations. NoOne has taken his 20"s into some pretty epic trails out west. I'll bet he'll chime in here in a bit. If not, hit him up, I'm sure he will be happy to answer any questions you have.

Re: lifted on 20s

Okay thank you and just wounderin could i run stock height with 20s and all terrains or would the lift first be a better way to go and then tires and wheels
