In Dash Navigation Unit

I'm thinking about ugrading my RAQ unit with a Navigation unit. Those of you who have went aftermarket, will you post some pics of your nav units. I know popular ones are kenwood and pioneer. I want to have an ipod jack(stereo or usb) and the factory REC unit doesn't have one. I'd also like hdd but it doesn't have to have it. If you go aftermarket, do you still need the Nav Bezel.

Yes, you will still need the nav bezel.

Kenwood is usually suggested above others for its superior navigation capabilities.

To be honest, pretty much every double din will generally carry the same features.

The best suggestion I can give you is to go to your local shop and play with a few of them.

the nav bezel is a lot cooler than the stock radio bezel

I went for a pioneer Avic-bt700. The main reason being that it has a impressive fan base that have developed a load of mods and hacks which you can find at avic411.com. Its a hand free unit and has a full ipod interface, can hook up a rear view camera and you can integrate it with the steering wheel commands with the proper accessory.

Will post some pics in a week or so when I am back.

Agreed. I had the bezel that has the little wings on it and it didn't look good at all. When I get an aftermarket deck, I'm going with the nav bezel.

Yeah, need (and probably want) the nav bezel. Also on the pioneer, its USB connection to the Ipod.
