Gauges or DS Intune?

OK so I'm working on the Jeep a lot these days and after all of my electronics messings, I've realized that I at least need a voltmeter. So I know I can pick up a dual gauge pillar from a friend for around $85 and then pick up some decent gauges for ~$50/each, leaving me in the hole <$200. However, I see that they've released the new DS Intune, which [apparently] has a whole bunch of readout type of information (although not sure how easy it would be to read). It's no Trinity, but I'll never be able to afford one of those. So what are your thoughts? I realize it would be nice to have the tuning capability, but really, is it worth it on the 5.7 WK?

Input appreciated in advance.

I like to do the most expensive first if accessibility will always be available for both. If that comment helps any.

What about a Scan Gauge? That worked great in my Firebird when I had it.

Pillar pod.... Some company makes a legit one. I considered getting it at one time. Brand slips my mind at the moment..

It's more like $100

Yeah I'm leaning towards the actual pods but I actually use my sunglasses holder and would hate looking up to see the gauges. Like I said, I can score the dual A-pillar pod for $85.

Dude those things look tight. I might be sold. Does everything I want, plus instant MPG...and a bunch of other nice stuff :)

BOOM, thanks to your input and some online research, just bit the bullet and picket up a scangauge II for $160 shipped on Amazon! Cheaper and MORE FEATURES! Not to mention plug n' play!
