My 2012 JGC

2 Attachment(s)
I ordered my JGC around Nov. 21, 2011 and my dealer had it on the lot around Dec. 21, 2011. Like some others I was trying to make the decision of getting the V6 or the V8. The strange part is when I first thought about buying a JGC, my mind was already set on the V8, and I've never owned a V8 or Hemi before. I went with black on black, and every option you can get except the chrome package and the rear entertainment (the panoramic sunroof is WAY better IMO lol.)

The MSRP was $48,305 ($50,122 total), and my price out the door was $44,278 including TTF etc. I went through True Car and purchased the Jeep from a dealer about 70 miles ,and an hour and 15 min. drive away.

Posting my nearly 3 week update, basically saying I LOVE this Jeep. :) It has plenty of power when I need it and the Jeep seems to move so effortlessly. The 6-speed transmission shifts so smooth and the Jeep is very quiet while driving, unless of course you give it some deep acceleration. The other night I was doing about 40 mph, and I needed to get in front of this ricer Subaru, so I gave the Hemi some acceleration and like 2 secs later I was already over 75 mph with the Hemi roar to match. I currently have 325 miles on the Jeep and I'm getting around 12 mpg all city running 89 octane. I drive ECO friendly (keeping the ECO light on), so I'm hoping to get better mpg after some more miles are put on it.

I washed it yesterday with ZipWax Turtle Wax car wash and wash, and put some wet black Turtle Wax tire shine on the tires. (I put up some pics, but I know they're not the best.)

You might want to try a couple tanks of 87 octane. I have tried both 87 and 89. There was no difference in performance or gas mileage between the two. If you are towing then go with the 89 but for just daily cruisin' save some cash and go 87.;)

x2...At least spring for some OTC Meguiar's.

Aside from that, the new ride looks great!

I'll give it a try after this fill up. Thanks.

I always though Turtle wax was good. What's the downside to using it?
