Honest question regarding CNA Warranty

Alright guys, bought my WK2 Last Sat and somehow was sold on the Ext warranty...(We all have our weak moments)

Anyone have any exp with CNA? Debating canceling it which would in theory allow me to pay off early which i was going to do anyway. After all Chrysler has a 5 yr 100k on it...this is a 6 yr 100k max bumper to bumper. I was ok with it for a while but today started second guessing it and wanted to get some other peoples opinion?

I have seen some good plans through Chrysler now I was not aware of but being that it would call for more cash out of pocked I am looking at sticking with CNA or nothing but factory.

I assume CNA is a third party warranty? if so, i would cancel and go with the chrysler factory extended warranty. did they sell this to you at the dealership??? you can get a great price on a factory extended warranty at either: chryslerfactoryplans.com or chryslerwarranties.com

i don't know what it was for a 5 year/100,000 but i know i priced a 7 year/70,000 mile for $850 or so. this was back in december so the prices went up a little. i bought a lifetime, unlimited mile for $1900. i found this price on chryslerfactoryplans.com and the dealership matched it.

i swore i would never buy a 3rd party warranty again after the company i bought through went bankrupt (warranty gold). it was a huge deal about 8 years ago. their administrator, who managed a bunch of other extended warranty companies, also went bankrupt.

you should be able to cancel the CNA warranty.

^agree with rusty as do most of the guys on this board, a majority that get the extended coverage do so through Chryco. there's a good chryco extended warranty thread here somewhere but I couldn't find it with a few search efforts.

Check out the Chryco website below:

Chrysler Factory is the way to go if you have the option to get out of your current CNA. Heres on recent thread on the maxcare protection which is almost like bumper to bumper. The best you can get coverage wise..

http://www.jeepgarage.org/f73/is-maxcare-lifetime-a-good-care-34730.html

here is a long 18 page sucker on pricing...

http://www.jeepgarage.org/showthread...light=warranty

Just go to the trouble shooting/problems/service sub-forum.. Advance search.. titles only and search warrantys.. Should get a bunch of hits that look like this..... http://www.jeepgarage.org/search.php?searchid=1877223

These above should start you off for a while.

Good Advice...I don't know what i am going to do as the CNA Warranty would just apply to my loan and not money in my pocket so I would have to do more upfront for Chrysler warranty.

Anyone have specific experience with CNA? I have heard some good stuff from it.

Might not necessarily mean that they are bad just because they are third party. One benefit of third party is a lot of times you can go to any mechanic and not only a Jeep/Dodge as per chrysler warranties. However, that being said. No one says CNA won't go out of business, or deny a claim after you get it repaired, be slow to repay, etc. Chrysler you just pay your deductible at the dealership and be done with it.

If you cancel and request a refund for CNA Warranty your saying they won't send you a check, they will apply the refund to your loan? I'd think the refund would go to you, the owner and then could be used to purchase chrysler if you wanted. Regardless at least you have an extended...

Re: Honest question regarding CNA Warranty

i might be a little leery because of what is written about in ripoffreport and the BBB.

google 'cna warranty' and you'll get a bunch of other stuff from other forums.
